Meet The Owner

Hi, I’m Emily, the owner, book buyer, box packer, professional overthinker, and general chaos coordinator behind Wasted Words.

 I created Wasted Words because I wanted book shopping to feel like more than simply adding another title to your cart. I wanted it to feel exciting, personal, and maybe just a little unhinged.Around here, you’ll find curated mystery book boxes, indie-author editions, new and gently loved books, and plenty of bookish extras—all chosen and packed by an actual human who gets entirely too emotionally invested in fictional people.

When I’m not working on Wasted Words, I’m usually reading, working at my big girl job, chasing two tiny humans, or convincing myself that ordering more books technically counts as inventory management.

I’m so excited to keep building this little bookish corner and incredibly grateful to everyone who has followed, shared, ordered, or encouraged me along the way.
